WONJEONG DEPARTMENT STORE explores the desires inherent in images with an element of fantasy centering on media installation and performance, and how the image is connected to the world of others. The artist borrows the form of myth and delivers it through present sensibilities using herself as the material. Her work expands the temporal and spatial experiences by traversing across the juxtaposed sleek images on the smooth screen surface and the wet visible and present movements.
